| Huancara USA Tour 2008 |

| Since 1982, the Argentine group HUANCARA has won international renown for its sensitive synchronization of indigenous and experimental music with original compositions inspired by folklore. The group members include composers, artisans of traditional instruments, researchers, collectors, teachers; they are musicians united by a passion for South American folk music and for its diffusion as a contemporary musical expression. The members of Huancara are dedicated to bringing the work of anonymous composers, as well as compositions by personal friends and more widely known composers, to the general public. Huancara works tirelessly to create space for and expand the reach of the many artists associated with crafting and interpreting traditional American criollo and Pre-Columbian instruments. Onstage, HUANCARA unites a trio of guitar, bass and drums with an extensive variety of traditional pre-Columbian and criollo instruments: bombos legüeros, cajas, tambores, sonajas, charangos, quenas, sicus, anatas, erkes, moxeños and silbatos, among others, make up the Huancara Collection. Huancara creates the instruments they play onstage. |

| Comments: Dear Victor: Thank you so much for making this concert possible. It was world-class music. You have to feel proud of all your efforts... The public was great and it was a great party. Last time I listened to music like this....it was in Europe more than 15 years ago. Thanks for all you do to preserve our heritage. Viva Mexico!
